Our Services

  • Surgery

We offer pre-anesthetic screening for all patients tailored to your pet.  Surgical services and facilities include: fully trained veterinarian and staff  to ensure the safest, most efficient procedures for your pet; a heated surgery table for greater comfort; advanced sterilization techniques; ECG and oxygen saturation monitors; after surgery care and full blood testing.

  • Dental Care

Regular professional cleaning is important to maintaining your pet's teeth. We use a modern and safe IM3 ultrasonic machine to clean each tooth thoroughly - above and below the gum line. The teeth are also polished to create a smooth, lustrous tooth surface more resistant to plaque buildup after the cleaning.   We also have a digital dental x-ray system for evaluation of the entire tooth.

  • Immunization and Wellness Care

We strive to prevent illness whenever possible. The time and effort invested in Wellness programs has rewards for both pets and owners. A Wellness program can be designed specifically for your pet and include, if you consent: Comprehensive physical exam; internal parasite testing  (fecal and Giardia test); heartworm and flea control; the 4DX test for heartworm, Lyme, Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis for dogs or the triple test for Feline Leukemia, Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, Heartworm; vaccination program; spay and neuter; and specialized blood tests for all life stages.

  • Hospice / Euthanasia Services

Saying goodbye to a long-time friend is painful. We work with clients to ensure their pet's comfort and dignity. Services include taking care of the remains as directed by the client.  Your beloved and faithful companion can be cremated with or without ashes returned to you.  You have the option of staying with your friend to say your last good-byes or if you do not feel comfortable doing that, we can put your pet to rest without you.

  • Internal Medicine

We address many areas of internal medicine, including: Cardiology; Ophthalmology; Dermatology; Gastroenterology; Oncology; Endocrinology; among others.  We often refer severe heart cases and glaucoma/cataract cases to referral clinics for the best possible diagnosis/treatment available if the client consents.

  • Pain Management

Veterinary patients feel pain and discomfort under the same circumstances as people do. We know that recognizing and alleviating pain in animals is the essence of good patient care and faster healing times.  Surgical patients are given mandatory pre-op pain meds and take home pain meds with owner consent.

  • Nutritional Counseling

Some pets require special food, and all pets benefit from a balanced diet with a good food.  We can recommend the right diet for your pet to keep him or her happy, healthy and active.  We recommend Hills Science Diet products as our prescription diet of choice for those patients with weight problems, kidney problems, liver disease, recovery, etc.  We like Costco's Kirkland Puppy and Adult formulas as this is an A+ rated food without preservatives, meat as the first product and our dogs love it.

  • Fully Stocked Pharmacy

We stock a wide range of the best veterinary drugs in the animal healthcare field.  We always have Heartgard Plus, Interceptor and Frontline Plus on-hand.  Other medicines can be ordered and often available within a few days if not currently in stock and mailed to you if you prefer.

  • Radiology

Radiology – or X-rays – help our veterinarian evaluate muscular-skeletal, cardiovascular(cardiopulmonary), gastrointestinal, reproductive and urinary systems.
